Instruct Fireworks

How To Be Safe With Fireworks

Today I am going to teach you how to be safe with fireworks. I will tell you what you need, to be safe with fireworks.

  • A hose or bucket of water.
  • Leave dud fireworks alone (They may explode in your face).
  • Leave unused fireworks in their packaging for safekeeping.
  • Leave all pets in a bedroom or everything closed and the TV blaring at full volume.

Now I will tell you how to be safe with the fireworks.

  1. If there are dud fireworks put them in a bucket or use a hose on them so they won’t randomly explode.
  2. Quickly run away from lit fireworks so when they explode they don’t explode on you.
  3. With sparklers have a bucket in case you get scared or they get out of control.
  4. Keep the fireworks away from flammable things.
  5. Make sure you have them in an open space.

Now that is how you are safe with fireworks.

Difficult words and meanings:

Dud: A firework that is not working properly.
Flammable: Something that can catch on fire.
Blaring: Something/someone making lots of noise or talking loud.
